Development

John is a Development Manager at SHS. John works with non-profit community-based and faith-based organizations on all aspects of the housing development process, from initial project visioning to planning and design, through to construction and occupancy.

John has an education in urban planning and experience in both the non-profit and for-profit development sectors. Most recently, John developed affordable housing across Massachusetts as a Project Manager with The Community Builders, Inc. Prior to his role at TCB, John worked as both a developer and lender for income-restricted housing and other social purpose real estate ventures. He is experienced working on complex projects with unique financing structures and multiple stakeholder goals, e.g. public transit improvements, development of public parks, etc.

Current Work

John is currently working on transitional housing for women coming out of the shelter system.

Bachelor of Arts in Biology (Boston University)
