Lorraine Randell

Lorraine is a strategic designer working on social systems and policy change. She has over 20 years of design experience supporting human-centred innovation and organizational change. Lorraine has deep roots in systems, communication, learning development, and design.
She has worked in communications and design for the District School Board of Niagara, prior to spending time as a social systems designer and consultant with Overlap Associates in Kitchener. Lorraine has worked with several large enterprise and grassroots organizations, both non-profit and commercial, such as Royal Bank of Canada, OMERS, UNICEF Canada, and the Canadian Mental Health Association. She designed and developed the launch of OCAD U CO, the executive education arm of OCAD University, and runs Make + Change Consulting – where change is supported through co-design and collaborative work. Lorraine also teaches as a sessional instructor of Systemic Design in the M.Des. program at OCAD University.
