Isanna Biglands
Manager, Housing Policy and Research
As the Housing Policy and Research Manager, Isanna primarily works on housing research studies and policy development projects. Her role involves performing need and demand assessments, policy analysis and development, literature reviews, and data analysis. Isanna examines relations between social, economic and demographic trends to pull out relevant and insightful findings and conclusions from data.
Isanna previously worked as a Research Associate at Environics Analytics, where she applied economic theory and statistical methods to conduct socio-economic research and data analysis related to the health of household finances. In this role, she assisted with the production, designing and quality control of estimation and projection models for economic data products in both Canada and the United States.
Isanna is passionate about understanding the story behind the data and effectively relating quality authoritative data back to the lived experiences of people living in communities.
